The Postal Corporation of Kenya (PCK) invites qualified and interested applicants to fill the following positions, which are vacant:
Job Title: Motorbike Rider
Department: Operations & Customer Service
Grade: UN10

Key Responsibilities
- Ride and deliver/collect postal items
- Maintain the motorbike:
- In a presentable clean state.
- Check engine and gear box oil level as specified.
- Verify correctness of all tyres’ air pressure as specified in manufacturer’s manual and assess tyres’ tread, wear, evenness and damage.
- Ascertain the serviceability of all lights, horn, breaks, and accelerator and ensure the brakes and clutch systems are working properly.
- Ensure correct levels of fuel and two stroke oil.
- The number plates are secured properly.
- Traffic ordinance markings are securely embossed.
- Confirm validity of road license, insurance cover and all trafficators
- Ensure compliance to proper traffic rules governing road usage in major towns.
- Ensure paramount safety of motorbike and official items at all times.
- Perform any other duty that may be assigned from time to time by the controlling officer.
Qualifications & Skills
- Must be a holder of KCE Div IV or KCSE mean grade of D+ (Plus) and above
- Must be of high integrity
- Must be a holder of a valid motorbike driving license
- Ability to transact counter duties
- Should be smart and presentable
- Must be 30 years and below
- Must pass practical test
